BML: Exemplary leadership

Barrister Morayo Lebi whose acronyms " BML" ( Better My life ) is well resonated with several of his admires and followers world over, is a unique leader with empathy that's second to none.

Leadership is mostly about inspiration. It's not always about giving and receiving money. It's about your disposition and reaction to issues. It's about empathy and compassion. Some renagades, touts, layabouts and commoners went to David in a cave but, when David finished with them, they all became men of valour. Purposeful and resourcesful men they became. How did David transform them? It's through inspirational leadership.

My wife and I were heading to the Island and suddenly the car was jerking and making troubling sound. The Driver came down to check the likely issues, when it didn't abate, I said we should just drive to BML's office whether we could get any of his staff to take my wife to where she was having an official training.  On getting there, Barrister Lebi asked us to come upstairs that we were quite lucky as he was about to go out for an appointment.

When I narrated my plight, he didn't only show sympathy, he demonstrated empathy! He did the unusual: he called his personal Driver to drive my wife to her destination, in his personal car, while he deferred his own appointment! WOW. What's a charismatic disposition. How will you feel if you were in our shoes?

Courage is another attribute noticeable in the celebrant. It's good to behold the glory his present status confers, but, we shouldn't fail also to glimpse at the depth he rose from. It sure takes God Almighty to pick a man out of the miry clay, and set his feet upon a rock and  established his goings. Nevertheless, since success is not serve a la carte, courage is needed to dare where angels fear to tread. You often don't see a man who will leave the cosy business environment to the murky waters of politics infested with terrible carnivorous beings!

Twice Barrister Morayo Lebi has sought to represent the great people of Ondo South at the  Red Chamber of the National Assembly. Though, he had been denied the opportunity thus far, but his eyes remains on the prize. Uneasy indeed lies the head that wears the crown. Looking unto Jesus who for the joy that was set before him, duly endured the cross, scorning its shame and is now seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne!

 The victory dance is imminent.The throne is prepared. Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Zion: and unto thee shall the vow be
